a. Lee Yuan Kew, The President of Singapore said we do not pay our politicians enough money.
- If we expect to get top people to lead our country, we need to pay them a wage commensurate with their responsibilities.
- If we want them to stop stealing from us we need to pay them off.
- I would increase the pay for Congressmen to $750,000 and Senators $1,250,000 per year.
- I would Giving all senators and Congressmen Secret Service protection.
- The Secret Service will record all meetings and calls and report back to the executive branch to make sure they do not take any bribes or engage in any illegal or inappropriate activities.
- This will be included in our bill to create the Central Apolitical Organization that reviews all bills.
b. We will run Congressmen and Senators against anyone who vetoes this bill. Why would anyone vote against receiving a raise unless they make more money stealing from us. Our legislators will make supporting this bill one of the centerpieces of their candidacy.
c. Our party will inspect what we expect. We will make sure that the representatives in our party will stand for honesty and integrity in office.
- Prior to passing the law the representatives from our party will agree to wear cameras and record their meetings to gain the trust of the American people.
- Over time we will prevail and be the largest party in the country.
