Specific Goals of the Party

1) Reduce the power of our politicians

2)Get our budget under control and get to a balanced budget as soon as possible and start reducing the debt annually.

3)Reduce the cost of running the government without adversely impacting all the good things the government does. This will be done the way it was done under Bush Senior and Clinton. Increase taxes to increase income, lower interest rates to stimulate the economy and reduce the cost to run the government. However, reductions to the budget will be done strategically, not with wanton disregard to the responsibilities our government agencies provide to our citizens and the world. The difference between Judaism and Christianity is that Christianity believes you must love thy neighbor.  We of the Jewish faith believe we must glean the corner fields for the poor. We do not need to love you, but we must take care fo those who are less fortunate. That is the role of government. We are the wealthiest country in the history of the world. We should not have any of our citizens lack the necessities of food, clothing and shelter. That is one of the responsibilities of our government. Companies should not be allowed to sell goods and provide services that are not healthy. We need to know that our vaccines and drugs are safe and efficacious. Those are the responsibilities of our government

  • Redo how we handle unemployment to stimulate jobs and reduce the cost.
  • Reduce the cost of Welfare by giving people an incentive to go to work without losing their benefits. Let them work their way out of welfare This will reduce the cost by $500 Billion over 10 years
    • I project we can assist 50% of these people to work their way off welfare over 10 years and make them productive citizens that pay into the system rather than   take money from our country.
  • Reduce the money we spend on the army. We now have less expensive ways to protect our country like drones. I have mixed feelings about Robot Soldiers which would save us billions of dollars. I suggest we limit expenditure to our 2024 budget and let the army figure out how to protect us with the money they already receive
    • Ukraine has managed to fight Russia with drones that cost a fraction of what we spend on our missiles and other weapons.  We also have Robots that we can use on a limited basis to reduce costs.
  • Make sure social security and Medicare money is in a separate account that earns money so that it can support itself. We should not use this money to manage our government. This will allow us to maintain these benefits since, ideally, we will invest it properly and the money we have in the system will grow and keep up with inflation.
  • Congressmen and Senators should not draft bills. Create an independent agency including those employees in our existing infrastructure to create an organization to create laws that will accomplish our goals in the most cost-efficient manner. Not by adding riders to bills for things we do not need so congressmen and senators can get paid and become wealthy at our expense.
    • They are to come up with additional ideas on how to reduce our cost without losing the benefits the country provides to the American public.
    • Stop our senators and Congressmen from using the federal government as their personal check book to make money.
    • They should not be allowed to draft bills. The bills should by this organization that is comprised of apolitical people who are extremely intelligent and have expertise in that field. They need to design laws that are the most cost-efficient way to accomplish our goals. The senators and Congressmen should only vote on their bills
    • The congressmen and senators should not be allowed to:
      • Add riders to bills for which they get paid millions of dollars
      • Give out contracts for which they get paid millions of dollars
  • Health Care- We should move to Health Savings accounts. This will save us 10’s of billions of dollars
  • Congressmen and Senators need to be supervised so they cannot meet with anyone alone. All meetings are to be supervised and recorded.
  • Research-
We may be able to save money on research. I do not want to stop the research but if, for example, Harvard is receiving $60 Billion for research that costs $20 billion then we are paying the University too much money to administer these projects. I think. we need to research this.
  • Increase taxes on people with incomes over $1,000,000 and net worth over $100,000,000
  • Term limits
  • Term limits
  • We are in favor of Abortion rights
  • We want Gun Control.
  • Immigration-We want to have a better system to process immigrants who want to enter our country. We need immigrants and they needed to be treated with respect. Our county was built on immigrants. Most of us are descendants of immigrants.
  • The Environment is an existential threat to our world. We need to work toward a cleaner environment and reduce carbon emissions.
  • We should diversify the Federal Reserve to include the heads of other industries.
  • International Issues
    • Iran- We need an agreement with Iran to keep them from having a nuclear weapon that gives the International Atomic Energy commission the right to inspect them.
    • China We need to negotiate an agreement with China to
      • Reduce their tariffs
      • Protect the intellectual property rights corporations
        • Allow us to go to court in China or the Hague to sue to protect our corporation’s intellectual property rights
        • Get them to agree to the same international norms we have with Europe and the rest of the world.
    • Europe
    • Nato
