Abortion

Abortion should be a woman’s choice.

  1. I recommend we pass a law that makes Abortion a woman’s choice and take it out of political discussion.
    • Over 65% of the country is in favor of abortion rights
    • Denying a woman the right to an abortion will increase the cost of Welfare and other programs that provide subsidy for people with low income. It is also not fair to the children.
      • Many children will not receive enough nourishment for their brains to develop properly and are less likely to succeed in life. This continues a class of underprivileged people. Our goal must always be to lift people up and not tear them down. More important, we must always strive for them to be successful, so they pay into the system, not take money from the system. This will reduce our expenses and ultimately lower our debt.
      • The Anti-abortion movement is used to divide us and maintain the two-party system. What right do we have to judge? Everyone should have the right to make decisions not just about their body but how they want to spend their time on this earth unless their actions cause damage to another human being.  If one wants to argue that an unborn child is a human being, then set a reasonable time to make that decision. It should be at least 20 weeks. The Federal government should take responsibility for this and make it Legal throughout the country as it is in every other 1st world country.
      • This is motivated by a religious movement. There is supposed to be a separation of Church and State.  This is a violation of one of the basic principles of our constitution
      • This is another way political parties separate us to maintain their relevance. It is absurd to make abortions illegal.
    • A third party will make it more difficult for one party to control the vote and make it easier to pass this law.
